A little background info ...
Design Shack is a small, but professional studio headed up by a digital nomad of British origin, currently located in South America. However, the beauty of our unique working situation means that this could change at any time!
Where did it start?
My career as a graphic designer started after I graduated from the Norwich School of Art back in the late 1980s. my first gig was for a studio based in Leeds, United Kingdom, working with clients such as National Power, British Rail, The Post Office and ASDA.

Since then, I've probably garnered a level of experience in pretty much every area of graphic design you can think of, including several years working in both the commercial and financial arenas of the business - an essential addition to my skill set when working with clients today!

As a small business ourselves, our focus is on providing an outstanding service for other small ... and medium-sized businesses - we seek to provide those same services that larger, more cash rich companies benefit from.

But we aim to do it in a more friendly and affordable way. We recognise that small businesses especially, are most often a reflection of the business owner and their all-important employees.
​
We don't create designs that we like to do - that would be easy! - We listen to our clients. Our designs reflect what you tell us you want.
Of course, we use our extensive knowledge to advise you - without all that confusing tech speak! But, at the end of the day, it is you, the client, that knows your business - we are only here to help you interpret the ideas you have.

That's not to say that if you want us to handle everything from start to finish we are not more than happy to do that for you!

Remember ... your brand should reflect you and your business - not some design fad that your design studio or designer is currently in love with!
